After about 2 hours in the freezer, Calmcap stays comfortably cold for a typical 15–20 minute session (it depends on your room temperature). For back-to-back sessions, keep a second cap chilling in the freezer.

Not over your eyes: the cap covers them to block out light, so take your glasses off while you rest. If you'd rather keep your glasses on, roll the cap up and wear it like a beanie to cool your head and temples.
